Note: I am always looking for all kinds of videos that feature any
arcade games. I am also interested in hearing from anyone who has
any video footage of: Old Game Warehouse Visits, Large Private
Collections, Pinball Shows like Expo, PA and Wild Wild West. Also
video footage of various arcades from around the world. If this is
of interest to you please contact me and I will tell you what I might
have in trade for such material.
1) Pinball Expo, Oct. 26-29, 1995
For anyone who missed the opportunity of attending this years
11th Pinball Expo held October 26th to 29th. 1995,
I have a four hour, six hour & eight hour video tape available.
Here is what's covered:
Part 1
- Pre-EXPO party
Wednesday evening October 25th at Richard
Schieve's house. For those who have never met Richard he is
one heck of a nice guy! His generosity was much appreciated.
15 Pinball machines including Ted Estes "Earthshaker" with sinking
building. Plus 14 classic video games all in mint condition.
- Tour of Lenc-Smith
Lenc-Smith is the place where game boards & cabinets are
made. Highlights include Johnny Mnemonic on the production line,
a shot of a prototype game board, various scrap game panels used
around the shop as boxes, stools and wall supports.
- "Memories of Genco Manufacturing"

- Rick Stetta
Rick Stetta, one of the most flamboyant players of the game of
pinball, shares some of his expertise and demonstrates techniques
in pinball strategy and play. (Approx. 1/2 hr.)

Part 2
- "The Most Collectible Pinball Machines (Of the last 10 years)"
Speaker: Dick Bueschel The audience participates in determining
what recent games are collectable.
- "For Import Only: American Made Pinball Machines for the Italian Market"
Speaker: Federico Croci Moderator: Dave Marston (Approx. 1 hr. & 15 mins.)
- "High Voltage"
A short video on a game designed by Askey.
Total time: 2 Hours
Part 3
- "Is Over-Restoration Too Much"
Speaker: Herb Silvers (Approx. 36 mins.)
- "The Pat Lawor Show"
Host: Pat Lawlor & guests (Approx. 1 hr. & 24 mins.)
Total time: 2 Hours
Part 4
- A Video Tour of the Exhibit Hall.
Highlights include, video footage of
the games at Expo and some of the dealers there.
- Misc. Footage
Profiles /Short interviews & Misc. footage of people involved in our
hobby. Dwight Andersen shows and tells us about his "Over The Top"
Capt. Fantastic; Sam Harvey "Pinball Historian" talks about his favorite
subject "Pinball"; Richard Lawnhurst, for those who don't know Richard,
he has one of the nicest woodrail collections I have ever seen. This is a
chance to put a name with the face of a fellow collector with more than
60 classic machines; Meet Reinhold Mokrohs the Tim Arnold of Europe
who has approx. 663 machines in his collection; Greg Dunlap playing a
Twilight Zone with a prototype playfield (which Ted Estes wrote code for so
that the spiral magnets sling the ball around the back from one magnet
to the other).

Note: I will add 1 hr. & 15 mins. of other pinball related footage to the above.
All the seminars were shot from front row. The tape is raw footage, and not edited.

2) Pinball Expo, Nov. 10-13, 1994
For anyone who's missed the opportunity of attending the
10th Anniversary Pinball Expo held Nov. 10
to 13th 1994. I have an approx. four hour video tape available.

- Tour of Electrical Windings
Our tour guide was owner
Donald Murphy. Highlights include Donald's 120 machine
collection of mostly Gottlieb 50's & 60's pinball machines.
- Tour of Data East (now Sega).
Highlights include Maverick on the production line,
A shot of a Centaur, Jim Patla touring Sega.
- A Video Tour of the Exhibit Hall.
Highlights include video footage of most of the games
at Expo and some of the dealers there.
- Seminar on "Shopping Your Pinball Machine"
Speaker: Jim Tolbert (Aprox 1 1/2 hrs.)
- Seminar on "Game Design from A to Z"
Speaker: Pat Lawlor and friends (Approx 1 hr.)
- Seminar on "The Life and Times of the PinGame Journal"
Speaker: Jim Schelberg ( Just under 1 hr.)
All the seminars were shot from front row.
Some footage of the guest banquet speaker and some
misc. video shots of lots of games is also included. This tape is raw
footage, and not edited.
